Dr. Agnesamma Jacob is the Chief Pathologist and Prinicpal Investigator and Dr. Savithri M. C. is the Co-Prinicpal Investigator.

        On an average the Department of Pathology annually receives 3,300 - 3,500 histopathology specimens, 1,300 - 1,500 cytology smears and 1,200 haematology smears.

        The information on cancers sent to the project covers all the cases received in the Department of Pathology.
